Good afternoon, everyone.
My name is# I’m so happy to share my teaching design with you all.
Today I will present Module 10 Computers
Unit 1 How do I write my homework on the computer?
There are 6 parts to be talked today.
First, my teaching background. Second, my teaching aims and teaching methods. Third, teaching procedure with a flow chart. These 3 parts will be explained in English. And I’ll give more further information about teaching theory, teaching steps and eva luation in Chinese.
First , Analysis about teaching content.
This lesson is from NSE Book 1 and well organized around computer. In class, students will learn to use wh- questions in Simple Present Tense, which is required to be masted in Curricular Standard, and it will help easily learn wh-questions in other tenses. And also, they will get to know basic words about computer and some verbs and sequence adverbials about giving instructions.
Unit1 is the first lesson focused on listening and speaking. I’ will help train students listening skills of understanding the instructions and giving proper responses; Second, they will mastered the speaking skills of giving instructions in clear order with a flow chart.
After the lesson, they will increase the logic thinking and improve their English learning through the new technology, like computers and Internet.
According to the analysis of teaching content and the level of my students, I set my teaching aims
like this:
For the Knowledge Aims:
Most of the students will
1. master basic words about computer and giving instruction;
2.get to understand the dialogue.
For the Ability Aims:
Most of the students will be able to:
1.give a brief introduction about how to use a computer in English;
2. ask the process of using a computer;
After the lesson:
Students will use computer to help learn English properly and effectively.
Key Points:
1. New words: (nouns) : computer, keyboard, monitor, mouse, printer, document, box;
(verbs) : print, connect, switch on, use ,click, save;
(adverbs): first, then, after that, next, finally;
2. Grammar: wh- questions in present tense.
Difficult Point:
Describe the process in complex situations.
Based on the above, I try to run this lesson by PWP listening method.
This is my teaching flow chart.
First, warming up through an interactive e-card to arouse students’ interest and then presentation of key words, which will be used through the lesson. After presentation, different types o f drilling is necessary
Second, while-reading by 3 step of listening like general listening ? detailed listening- listening for discourse.
In post-listening, students will read the dialogue after the tape, then summarize the process in pairs, after that, complete a flowchart of sending an email before writing down the instructions. Finally, encourage students to demonstrate and have an eva luation.
Last but not least, it’s homework.

1.本课话题
本课的话题为“电脑”,题材新颖,有利于激发学生们的兴趣。在教学过程中利用学生在电脑方面的知识来促进英语学习,提高运用语言的能力。

一般现在时的特殊疑问句。
3.本课在本模块的位置与作用
本节课是整个模块的第一课,是一节听说课。学生通过学习能听懂有关电脑方面的简单词汇并能进行简单的问答,为下一单元的学习提供语言支持。
学情分析:
授课班级学生基础知识不太牢固,语言能力一般, 但大多数学生有较强的学习愿望,学习英语的积极性正在提高。本节课语言知识重点是运用一般现在时的特殊疑问句来进行有关电脑方面的简单问答。对于学生来说,这一知识点不难理解,但实际应用能力还有待提高。因此,本课重点是培养学生运用这一知识点,促进学生综合语言运用能力的提高。
设计思路:
一个中心:以学生的学习和成长需要为中心
一个总目标:以培养学生综合运用语言能力为目标
三条渠道:
听说策略训练:整体了解―细节理解―分析归纳;
情感态度渗透:激发兴趣―合作探究―建立自信;
文化意识渗透:了解知识―增进理解―具备能力。
教学过程:
(STEP 1) 热身
展示一个有趣的互动贺卡,引起学生注意,通过点击贺卡来查看的方式,自然学习生词“click”.
创设情境,激发兴趣,导入本课话题.
(STEP 2) 呈现
呈现一张含有电脑各部件发音的图片,鼓励学生依据兴趣,通过随意点击想知道的部件名称,在体验中学习本课生词。
让生词说话,印象加深,便于掌握。
接着,教师提供事先准备好的一台缺少主要部件的坏电脑,在热心同学帮助组装的过程中,呈现动词connect… to…, 并通过此短语再次复现本课重点,有关部件名词。
借助学生已有的电脑知识来促进英语有关电脑部件的学习,情境学词,便于记忆。
然后,教师边检查电脑是否正常,边呈现如下新动词。
创设自然表达语言的情境,运用中呈现重点。
(STEP 3) 操练
两人小组,边说边操作刚学过的电脑操作的动词短语,体验中熟悉生词,突破难点,促进知识目标的达成,同时培养指令用语的听说和反应能力。
一人到教师机操作,其他同学用英文说出这位同学的动作,并以小组的方式记分,生生互动,培养竞争意识,强化重点,为听力做好铺垫。
(STEP 4) 听中
第一遍泛听,听前出示两个问题,让同学们带着问题听大意。
初听帮助学生在短时间内对对话有个整体的印象,培养学生听大意的能力,也为下面深入听力做好铺垫,
第二遍细听
教师打乱对话中有关步骤的表达,让学生再听时关注对话细节。
再听排序,培养学生理清操作思路。
第三遍重点听篇章结构的表达方式
提供流程图,让学生边听边完成顺序表达法及每步的动词。
巧妙地用流程图的方式将对话的重点呈现给学生,既突出了重点,又为完成听后埋下伏笔。
听的全过程遵循学生认知规律循序渐进,既练习了听力,又为听后的输出做了充分的准备.
(STEP 5) 听后第一步跟读
听后跟读磁带有助于纠正语音语调尤其注意本课重点―特殊疑问句的语气.
(STEP 6) 总结
通过课本中的问题(活动9),两人小组讨论描述在电脑上做作业的全过程。
运用流程图清晰呈现对话重点,既理清做事思路,又为完成下面拓展性任务的奠定了良好的基础。
(STEP 7) 任务呈现
告诉学生外教回国,请他们通过邮箱发送外教课的作业。
教师给学生提供任务,创设真实的情境,驱动学生的创作欲望。
(STEP 8) 实施任务
首先,学生根据教师提供的邮箱和一些打乱的有关发邮件的图片。
小组讨论任务步骤-
接着, 按照选好的程序,体验真实操作,共同完成任务,培养了合作精神。
俩俩合作,用目标语言边讨论边操作如何在电脑上回复电子邮件。让学生学会用特殊疑问句询问回复电子邮件的过程,感受实践对学习知识的重要作用,进一步加强教学目标的达成度。
然后, 通过邮箱自动回复系统检查自己的邮件是否发送成功,用任务的达成度检测任务的效果;
最后,通过让学生动笔,写出过程,落实本课重点;
(STEP 9) 展示与评价任务
任务完成后,全班展示。请一两组同学在教师机上边说操作步骤,边操作发送邮件的过程。
然后通过教师设计的评价表,让学生互评。
通过评价,取长补短,培养了反思能力.
(STEP 10)作业
